This Local Council in the South West region of Sydney are searching for a HR Business Partner to work in partnership with the business to provide specialist coaching, support and influence that enable key clients to effectively deliver their people strategy. You will provide a HR consultancy service that delivers best practice and focused HR solutions that support the business area in conjunction with specialist HR functions.
As the HR Business Partner, you will work with relevant key stakeholders to create a best practice work culture, ensuring HR governance, encouraging collaboration, and creating an environment that supports employee empowerment. You will be responsible for overseeing generalist HR activities in order to deliver high quality, proactive and strategic human resources services to the Council.
The Requirements
To be considered for this role it is essential that you have a tertiary degree in Human Resources or related discipline as well as proven generalist HR experience ideally within a local government organisation. You will be a practical, logical thinker with the ability to multitask. Your communication skills will be excellent, you will have a very strong work ethic and a very high attention to detail.
