Demand for professionals in fossil fuels is shrinking, and demand for professionals in renewable energy and sustainability is rapidly increasing, but the talent pool is growing at a much slower rate. When attracting and retaining candidates with skills in renewable energy and sustainability it’s a very competitive space.
There are several factors driving the high demand for talented professionals in energy and sustainability:

- Lack of immigration
- Increased population
- Higher density housing
- Demand for sustainability
